The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings, but shorter tempers; wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints; we spend more, but have less; we buy more, but enjoy it less.

We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor. We've conquered outer space, but not inner space; we've done larger things, but not better things.

We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul; we've split the atom, but not our prejudice.

We write more, but learn less; we plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait; we have higher incomes, but lower morals; we have more food, but less appeasement; we build more computers to hold more information to produce more copies than ever, but have less communication; we've become long on quantity, but short on quality.

These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion; tall men, and short character; steep profits, and shallow relationships. These are the times of world peace, but domestic warfare; more leisure, but less fun; more kinds of food, but less nutrition.

amanda land always faces a drought cos she's too lazy to go to the watercooler to get a refill. so the next time i shall know to go to donkeyland for water, it's far much nearer than the watercooler and i dun need to be a camel for the whole day. lol.

anyway, i just wanted to say that i love our red heads today! had a lot of fun with the red hairspray we bought to celebrate NDP :) we look so chio and shuai (for the guys) with our red heads today. and then there's skill required to spraying the hairspray i realised, cos someone had his hair sprayed very nicely, nicer than the rest of us. my guess is that he probably sprayed his hair by himself, that's why it's nicer than the rest of us who suka suka sprayed it onto someone's else hair.
guess it stems from his usual day to day practice with touching his hair and looking into the window?( lol, no offence taken if you know who you are : P ) hint: sits very very near the window, in the row behind me.

haha. just found out that donkey posted too. shall end off here to go read what she posted.

saw no. 38 woey standing in the parade square today, shouting commands for the ndp rehearsal. haha. took this picture at the parade square but before that had already spotted woey from our classroom window. actually the first thing that caught my attention to the ndp rehearsal when i was in class after school was hearing the parade commands being shouted. it sounded 很有气派 and so i went to the window to have a look at the ndp parade rehearsal and that's when i spotted an orange shirt among the rest of the blue, green, white and black. lol.

heehee, 1st time blogging over here. and i think i sound rather dumb. but anyways, weitian will have more pictures to share with you all. shan't snatch the job from her.

aah. screamie's back in action!

hmmm. haven posted in this blog for a very long time le. well. life's okie in 4h. bu u noe how boring it can get during certain lessons? it has a hypnotising effect on ppl! dun believe me? u shall take a look at this:

see? i told u rite. i mean this photo was taken in the middle of p****** lesson lol. dun ask me how i took it but i managed to xD miss aubaowen was SO sound asleep that she din even react or budge when i threw a paper ball at her. -.- and instead mandice lieu was the one who kept laughing LOL.

now if u would look closer. besides looking at the effect of hypnosis on ms aubaowen. u shd look at the person seated beside and behind her. apparently, they are also distracted. or rather, one of them is distracting ppl sitting behind him. yunrong and peican looks amused. so what actually happened? the answer was revealed when our p****** teacher turned her head away from the whiteboard. lol.

if i din remember wrongly, that was wad she said LOL. BINGO! somebody - tankahkee was throwing a rubber around in class. goodness, how childish can a guy get? lol. but the main point wasnt about the throwing. it was about how he actually got caught for throwing things when the person seated beside him was not caught for sleeping! lol.

and i think that was the most interesting lesson of the year for that particular subject. LOL

he's trying to murder me for dunno how many times
our class ppl say he 'no eq no iq' maybe it's true

1st attempt ROUND1: irritate me as usual and then happily ask me go measure my blood pressure to see if it actually rise...i hope it didnt burst

2nd attempt ROUND2: secretly took my chinese textbook away and make me the last one to enter the class after trying to find it in the locker, so sad that i had to read the super long passage to the class. GRAH....

3rd attempt ROUND3: happily pull out my chair on GB day, so when i sit i HAPPILY fell on the ground like tortise( si jiao chao tian) in that blue thingy. bad experience :(

Did you know...

Qin Qin and Mian Mian are twins; Qin Qin is older than Mian Mian, BUT Mian Mian is TALLER! And I think they talk abt everything under the sun, cuz Mian Mian hee-hawed at me when I don't really know her!

Chiang went to see a height specialist last year and the doctor told her her puberty age was during P2 cuz that's the period of time her height shot the highest!

Juay's a potential sleeper in class herself and actually seeks pleasure in catching ppl fallin aslp!
Our class adopted 2 ducks. 1 called woey and the other npk?

Lastly...

Scream! Self-proclaimed cute, but is Donk's nightmare... Just because of her height, she dao4 chu4 qi1 ya1 Donk and when Donk tries to retaliate, she threatens to e4 ren2 xian1 gao4 zhuang4 by telling tcher tt I bully her... According to her, cuz I'm taller, I've got the look that I'm the bully and ppl are more likely to buy her story and giv me demerit points!

seriously after reading yeow yeow's post,feeling very sad
i dunno why mr yeow is feeling that we sort of lost communication
but it's NOT TRUE!!!
everyone in the class really misses u alot
the fun and the laughters we shared,all of us rmb that
and we'll nva forget all those time we had together

maybe it's the beginning of the year
everyone is busy all the work that we have

i feel sorta sad u noe.
lik DAMN sad.
im sure all of us miss him alot.
but. we're jus sorta busy.
and i mean. its real different now.
that our FT has changed. and almost every
other subject tcher has changed. this sucks.
not that im saying no FT means no fren.
but. i dunno. we seldom see mr yeow.
he doesnt take us for any subject you noe.
and we are always so busy wif our stuff.
forever busy wif studies.
i hate sec 4 life.

our only form of communication is thru this

and even if they come,

i do hear ppl in the class saying that they miss you

i dun feel lik speaking in class. the atmosphere is jus

4h is a class that needs tchers to motivate us.
im not trying to be rude but. out new FT. she reli doesnt noe
how to interact wif us. she often come into the class and
ask us ques lik "how is today?" etc etc.
the class would turn quiet. and she wun be getting any
response until she calls upon someone. and after that,
the class would be quiet again cause no one noes wad to say
including her. and we would then start the lesson.
we are all trying to get used to all this.

first week of skool 2007

basically the first week of skool
consists of only 3 days. bish.
first day of skool.
i only remembered dr boon's speech o.O
and all the new rules. no draw strings.
5 demerit pts jiu kena caned or internal
suspension. DOTS.
next was finding out whos our new FT.
and then trying to set up some class rules and
all. yar. oh and electing class comm. i tink most
remained in their posts yar.
i tink i missed out alot of stuff.
others help me to post bahs lol.
then second day.
came to skool late. haha. best part lol
can wake up later.
and i realise that no tchers wan to noe our names at
all. thats lik sooooo sad. lameshit.
then our geog tcher started lessons on the first
period. i was lik shocked...
ms zarinah was nice though. but due to the
new demerit points systems, i gather that tchers are
encouraged to giv more demerit points to students.
-.- anw. PE. actually had a briefing during meeting.
overview of wad we're gonna do for this year. was
sorta boring. RECESS. long awaited recess which lasted
35min if im not wrong. huanglaoshi!!! lols. two thumbs
up for those who actually finished the 12 zuowens...
lols. i did 6 cause din expect huanglaoshi to ask us to
hand in lol. DOTS. but we had some time to do it in class.
yar. eng. wad did we do ar? dun reli remember leh. bish.
math was scary. mrs lim was sorta fierce. seriously
im lik scared of her lah. suprise tests and all. sobs.
third day was okie~
mrs lee was serious as usual. lols.
ooh. and finally the first and only tcher who wanted

lols. not bad eh. but almost half of the lesson was gone lik that.

End of Semester 2 06’

dear all ... finally the academic year is over.. it's been busy busy days leading to the last day of school.. wanted to spend more time talking to all of u on the last day but everyone's seems in a rush to go do something hahaa..

it has been a great year being your form teacher.. u have been a great bunch of different people who is somehow put together in this class and somehow i became ur FT .. i enjoyed the lessons with u all and i felt a sense of renewed joy and purpose everytime i stepped into the class .. be it Maths or SEL lesson or even flag raising..

only regret was i could not speak to each and every one of u individually in the yr .. only could 'communicate' thru the journals u all write and reply whenever i can .. am just glad all of u managed to pull thru the tough year of MANY tests and quizzes .. and survived as a class which grew together intellectually and socially...

well done! you've made it thru 2006 as 3H .. you've gone through
1. opening day of school in a totally new environment and class where u first meet ur new classmates from China and ME!
2. bonding camp .. what else can i say abt it?
3. BBQ after MYE
4. Seoul Gardens and 'Click' after 2.4run
5. Change of seats during Term 3.. can still remember those awkward silences and politeness..
6. Chalet during Sep hols .. night cycling for some ..
7. Steamboat BBQ@ marina south after FYE.. where u all celebrated my bday
8. car-wash during enterprise day .. where we earned our pizza money..

just a quick summary of the yr .. did i miss out anything?

oh yah ... i haven explained why i had been wearing specs on some days .. it's cos i will be going for Lasik surgery the next 2 days (30 and 31 Oct) .. it's eye surgery to correct myopia and astigmatism.. i can't wear contacts before the surgery and on those days during ur exams when i wore, it's cos of the pre-checkup.. am gonna be partially blind the next few days.. pls pray for a smooth surgery.. it's low risk but it's still an operation with lots of side effects ..

hopefully i'll be able to see u all who are coming over on wed .. and enjoy the movie marathon .. : )

Sorry guys, I don't really know how to post blog entries since I don't even have a blog, so qing duo duo bao han if this entry ends up at the wrong place ya? Ok guys, I don't wanna see you fight you know. Everyone should give everyone a chance, and just stop hating one another. Group A hates Z and Z hates group A. If you guys can practise something like diplomacy and create a platform to discuss and resolves differences, I think the class would be a much better place. I guess we really need a conference or something to work this out. I don't know what happened between Group A and Z before but still, we are in one same class. Ok, just when I thought things were rather awful, a Group AA have to come in and start hating Z. All of us probably don't know each other well enough, but we just don't seem to really communicate to one another at times.

Okay, take the example of the sports class people. People just think they are " beng " or " lian " but actually they REALLY are okay and acceptable people. No doubt they are biosterous and tend to block and cut access to our class at the corridor and walks around like this whole big gang but they really are okay. Serious. But why people just see the bad side of them? To me, I think it's because they don't interact with them, and thus don't know and don't see who they really are. In this world, everyone WOULDN'T like everyone. That's a fact. The least everyone can do is just not to provoke them and purposely scold the hell out of them all of a sudden and scare the daylights out of everyone. Maybe you can just hold little conversations like " How's CCA yesterday? " or " Hey nice pen you've got there. =) " It wouldn't harm your cells just to do that right? Please, don't quarrel.

Even though, by saying this I really risk myself being whacked or murdered by you rocking peeps out there but I HAVE to post this. Sorry Mr Yeow and class, but I have to repeat myself. No quarrels, no talking bad about one another, no staring ferociously and no critisizing. I am not a perfect person, but I'll try to do those stuff I've mentioned and hope this class would have a better atmosphere. By the way where's the class tee? * Don't scold me please >.< *

CLASS CHALET!!!

lalala~ class chalet was fun!!! lols. hmmx.
venue: NSRCC
date:01/09/06 [official tcher's day yupp]
lols. ya. official tchers day 1st sep ma. so of course that day then give present rite hahas. so that means no present on the 31/08 hahas. so no point being sad mr yeow!!! lols. and so we gave the present on the 1st. when we reached the chalet, we gave mr yeow his present!!! hahas. then he looked and looked. at the back of the BIG card, there was the 'father abraham' song =) lols. i write de leh. so ugly. owells. anw. mrs yeow din noe that it was a song i tink. then mr yeow sang it to her =) hahas. the song was nice. not sure of the voice though lols. yupps. and so after that. we went to the chalet. lalala~ not bad la. hahas. one living room one tv one kitchen two rooms one bbq pit. lik any other chalet haha -.- yupps. but that place quite inaccessible. hanlu minghui junru athena weitian baowen shimin me and xinyi had to walk for lik 1 hr to reach the nearest bicycle rental shop -.- we left at arnd 4pm i tink. baowen me minghui rented bikes overnite and we went back to the chalet at lik 7 plus?! dots. ya. then by the time we went back, there was food oreddy!!! hahas. slacker. lols. ya. there was beehoon, chicken wings, sotong(yummy!), fish(woots!!!) etc. haha. rocks man. lalala~ after dinner, we went on to do other dtuss. some ppl watched movie - final destination hahas. u cld suddenly hear ppl screaming la lols. haha. lameshit. then some were playing mahjong!! cool. yupps. hahas. it was fun lalala~ then suddenly. i dunno wad time it was. mr yeow came out wif this chocolate cake!!! hahas. to celebrate bdae for bainan-31/08 and the sep babies-baowen mandice sheryl me =) sweet~ hahas. bainan was in charge of cutting the cake. halfway thru cutting the cake, he suddenly asked why he was the one cutting the cake. LOLS. amusing lols. haha. yupyup. lols. that was nice man. lalala~ then after that i forgot wad happened le. those who remembered pls blog bahs hahas. short term memory la. lols. ya. then lu lu xu xu ppl went back home~ so ppl who stayed for the nite was minghui baowen me sheryl sherli and siewting. yupps. haha. mrs yeow went to sleep quite early yupps. not lik mr yeow lo. and so we were hungry. lalala~ ate cup noodles at lik 12 sth bahs. had prawns and fish to go wif the noodles lols. after that, me baowen minghui and mr yeow carried on playing mahjong hahas. then sherli siewting and sheryl chit chatted. hahas. they were VERY VERY amusing. lols. lameshit. aniwae. we continued playing playing until dunno wad time then the 3 of them wanted go sleep. then we woke them up to play DANCE la. lols. lame. hahs. then we din play. went back to mahjong again. 3 of us wanted go nite cycling at lik 3am. but in the end continued playing until 4am before we went out to macs and ate our early breakfast. lols. mr yeow very kelian. actually he wanted to sleep le. but he still ying4 cheng1 to entertain us to play mahjong. can see that he was very tired lols. his eyes were lik RED. lols. ya. aniwae. we cycled for dunno how long. tink went back at 6? then we on-ed the tv to watch freaky friday. LOLS. wasted electricity. hahas. cause we watched for lik dunno 15min jiu fall asleep le. lols. hahas. hmm. the main point was that we left the tv on. lalala~ hahas. ya. and so we woke up at 8plus bahs. then the 3 of them went to play badminton hahs. so enthu. then mr yeow went to buy breakfast. then mrs yeow joined us in watching this dunno wad lame movie. hahas. and so. we decided to leave cause we had to return the bikes. hahas. byebye chalet~ and thx to mr and mrs yeow hahas. 3H outing to Marina

After the painful 2.4km run at ECP this morning, we had a sort of class 'outing' to marina... first up will be Seoul Garden which we all thought is very big .... but actually quite small inside ... limited seats and after some haggling with the manager .. we got settled down to eat for an hour plus before we had to give up the tables to other hungry souls waiting outside the restaurant ... : ) but well ... most of us had our fill already at that time ... just nicely sufficiently stuffed...

next up will be the movie 'Click' ... apparently it's not too comedy a comedy but also not quite a tear-jerker a tear-jerker though we had lots of laughs (some claimed to hear my laughter halfway across the theatre), we also had our tears (literally the whole row of gals teared when adam sandler 'died') ... hahaaaa.. no one believed i teared too .. sob sob ... the show is so heart-warming ... shall make those who watched the movie to write a movie review for SEL hahaaa...

it was chiong-ing to the washroom after the movie and we spent some time outside the washroom talking about the movie and deliberating over where to go next .. some of us left as we have some poor soul who had to go back to school for CCA ... ?????.....

anyone can update what happened after that ..

anyway i wanna thank those who took the initiative to go over to the PRC table to share food with them and play games with them ... u gals were GREAT .. initially tot it's so awkward to split tables but u all really bucked up the courage to get out of ur comfort zone and break the barrier .. ur efforts paid off and the PRCs also took initiative to come over to our table to mingle with the rest .. good job done ! ... made me feel proud once again : )

okie .. time to get ready for a painful overnight cycling ...

you all are now 'forced' to sit with unusual people whom u do not normally have contact with every day ... but i'm sure all of u LOVED to make some new friends and get to know some more classmates BETTER other than those u already knew ...

all of u look so shy and reserved today ... that's what i am laughing about the whole day ... looking forward to the day when the walls are torn down and all of u r back to the usual comfortable selves with ur new neighbours... hahaaa...

but right now, i am just enjoying every moment seeing all ur faces in class .. hahaaa...
just like first day of school !!!

HOLIDAYS oredi !! but dun really feel like it at all .. not like previous years where everyone will feel so excited on the last day and some of us will go drink a cup of coffee and chill out while talking about students hahaaa... so different now.. all so busy, still have meetings going on and PTCs ..

really proud of all of ur results .. good or bad, i know u all have tried ur best ... those who did not get the results that u expected, u still got Sem 2 to try again .. jia you ! u all are just so exam smart hahaa...
actually wanted to praise u all for ur good behavior during the post exams period ... but siigh ... last day of sch kanna hum-tum by me... "Chaotic times will show your true character" ... rem that ..
but anyway, still must praise u all for being well-behaved at least for most of the time.. got teachers come and tell me ,"ur 3H so weird ! we walk past other classes they are all hay-wire.. but ur 3H, all sit down there and do their stuff and so quiet.." hahaaa... proud of u all ...

try to enjoy the holidays as much as possible ... minus the holidays assignments, CCAs, extra lessons, i'm sure there is still time to relax and play ..
i will be away to phuket again this weekend.. leaving at 7am on sat morning and be back on mon morning .. time to party !!

haha today's bbq was fun!

20 of us managed to get A1s for both emaths and amaths!
and so now mr yeow's wallet got one big hole le!
have to treat us to bbq! =P

oh yar this is weitian! haha my second time blogging!
today's bbq is really interesting!

unusual to see baowen's face go ALL RED when we teased her..
horrible to see that the Function room still got people haven siam yet when it was 6
even got one girl studying there! shhh!
funny to see how zhi sing borrowed the billard stick to retrieve the soccer ball
irritating to see the security guard patrolling and keeping a close watch on us.
amusing to see how chuan yun was nearly ponded by lu huan..
stunned dio to see that shiya and zhi sing went the long long long way to 85 there de 7-11 just to buy ice!
proud to be telling shu chen some of the nice nice food in Singapore! esp sotong and sambal kangkong!!
again, funny to hear bing hao asking if he can have a second helping of mee fen when amanda was like helping herself?
feelings of disbelief seeing that mr yeow was able to turn one round bout the narrow thing there.

there's definitely more interesting things out there during the bbQ! haha
this is a crappy post! wonder if at this time they are still there anot?
if they are, WAtCh out for the police!

yays =) another first timer heex. first time blogging at class blog. wheeeeeex. cant believe it. im actually whee-ing here when im sick. sneezing my nose off. rarhs. anyway i tot the chinese test today was freaking hard and i heard that there was actually 3 'variations' ( do u call it variations. owells) yupps. 3 of them . namely 'A', 'B' and 'C' i tink. lol. tink its quite lame that they actually had time to set 3 papers when the MYE is nearing. boos~

oh. n can someone explain to me wad exactly did mr yow (ya. that one. lols) say today at the parade square? u noe. about the paper 1 n 2 thingy. i hope that it was me who suddenly turned deaf when he announced that paper 1 n 2 of eng and chi are held on consecutive days. and not that he actually said that. rarhs. freaking lame. im going mad soon. or rather im mad as usual.

feels so weird.. hahaa.. typing a blog entry about what is happening right in front of my eyes now as the class is writing their journals ...

most of them are concentrating hard to write sthg about bonding camp and march term break ..

5 gals in front of me are quietly writing.. one started talking about shifting house..
6 girls behind them are grouped together like 38s ... writing and gossiping about a transparency.. enjoying themselves flagging the transparency in front of each others' face...
5 boys behind are silently writing too .. finally they are writing sthg substantial.. hahaa suddenly 2 of them in the corner started talking to themselves about tweetie bird... guy with curly hair just sat up and stared at the gals with transparency.. with a look of disgust...
